Heights and Brecksville battled right down to the wire, until a late goal gave the win
to the Bees. Brecksville got an uncontested shot from the point, which was deflected in
front and found the back of the net with 18 seconds left on the clock. The Tigers fell
to their fifth straight loss, despite playing some of their strongest games of the year
during this stretch. Liam Robinson was once again
brilliant in goal, making 26 saves. Trevor Plunkett got
Heights on the board in the second period with a wrist shot through the five hole to tie
the game at one. Brecksville retook the lead in the third period, but
Zack Murray answered quickly with a pretty one-on-one
goal to make it 2-2 with five minutes remaining. |
